Bio:
Dr. Ng is a Postdoctoral Fellow working with Dr. Kira Birditt at the Institute for Social Research. She is also under the mentorship of Dr. Anna Kratz in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Michigan. She obtained a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Sciences with Portfolios in Aging & Health and in Applied Statistical Modeling from the University of Texas at Austin. Broadly, she is interested in understanding how interpersonal relationships influence emotional, physiological, cognitive health outcomes and health behaviors among different populations (e.g., clinical and non-clinical, different racial/ethnicity groups). Her work utilizes mobile and wearable technologies to track individual’s moment-to-moment activities, symptoms, and functioning in real life settings.
